2020 Awards: Jennifer Andress, Amy Milam, Amber Kustos, Jane Ross, (Presenter: Henry Hughes), Mark Thomas. Not pictured: Dr. Bill Cleveland and Berkley Squires. All helped with invasive plant removal along Shades Creek Greenway.
5 tables of arts and crafts for families to make (free), including Clay salamanders, fish prints, origami, and more.
Fossils, microscopes, Whooping crane information, recycling display, art by Homewood Students,
Southern trees’ display, new educational interactive displays, and much more.
2:00 – Family nature hike (outdoors)
3:00 – Festival begins (indoors) with salamanders and activities
Music with Rob Angus and “Over The Hillbillies” band
